Terracotta
The word terracotta means ‘baked earth’ in Italian. Terracotta pot are relatively inexpensive with natural earthy colour. It is porous, allows water and air to pass out the sides and bottom, preventing root rot from over-watering. It has good insulation value, keeps the plant cool, not getting too hot while sitting in the sun.
